“ Delivery Order: Being able to order both Veg and Non-Veg Indian dishes that taste authentic is the best aspect about this place. Quantity and Quality was very good, and I absolutely loved all the items that I had ordered. Go to place for Indian ”
“ We had live pani puri here! It's good but they've mentioned they've got ragda but every time we have had they say it'll take time!! ”
“ Stopped here on our way to the airport. Pretty neat spot! We are from SF Bay Area and quite familiar with Indian joints, but this is at a whole different level! Small stand alone food court with a variety of stalls - dosa, chaat, info Chinese, fresh fruit juice and paan! The chaat was ok, not great. But the rose flavored fresh smoothie that we had was utterly delicious! Saw a sign by the water cups that said the cups were meant for in house use only....I chuckled as it was so reminiscent of India:) ”
“ Ignore the ambiance and you'll find yourself at the best spot to eat in Edison. Unlimited variety for some of the best Indian street food you'll get in NJ ”
“ Desi galaxy has a few stations inside offering various items. Our last visit was to get some savory snacks/chaats. Bhel puri. 5/5. Was very good and flavorful. The presentation was excellent. Vibrant, colorful. Chaat Papri 4/5. Also very good and tasty. Beautiful presentation, flavorful and savory. Dahi papri chaat. 3/5. This one was ok. Didn't care for it too much. It was some ingredient that I didn't like. There are plenty of items on the menu. And I see myself coming back for more items. ”
“ This is about the punjabi section of desi galaxy. The paalak paneer (spinach and cottage cheese) is 10/10 for anywhere in the US. Second comes any paneer dish like paneer tikka masala (8/10). Third comes daal (8/10). It used to be 10/10. It used to be slow cooked but after COVID they went survival mode it seems. It is a good daal - not a great daal anymore. They tandoori roti (no butter) is crispy and out of this world. Shaed, at 1700 oak tree rd is a gem of a person. Highly recommend. Their Gobi is amazing (9/10) when made to order with less oil. All their dishes are amazing when made with less oil. If you are a non veg ”
“ Desi galaxy is a food court and all of the food is terrific. We hadn't been here in a number of years but used to go quick often. This time we had the live pani puri. I liked that they had a selection of pani flavors like mango, katha meeta , pudina and others. The katha meeta (sour sweet) was the best and others were just ok. The puri didn't taste too fresh and the pani was tasty but really cold. I can't say this was a great experience. We also had papdi chat from another stall that was as great as usual. The best was the gobi paratha! Made to order, hot, spicy gobi inside a crisp paratha. (Still dreaming about it) We also shared a cup of elaichi tea. It was too milky for me but still hit the spot on a cold day. Service is efficient and there are a small number of tables. ”
“ Usually is a must visit on my trip to NJ. This time my GPS took me to Desi Galaxy express, which I never knew existed and thought this location moved there. However, on my way back home....I saw this open and had to make my stop. This place has a lot of variety Indian tood you can try. The food comes in a good portion for the price you pay with a good taste. This visit I only got a paan as I was stuffed from restaurant hopping. They sell the cheapest pasn at $1.50. We tried at least 4 spots for pasn this weekend and hands down, this was the best value for your money My visits here are routine so make sure you stop by and try it if you are in the area. If you are a local, enjoy and not sure why you would be cooking home. ”
